Exhibition catalogue by Büro Destruct for the ‘CopyCulture’ project!
With the ‘CopyCulture’ project, Büro Destruct explores the art of copying. The project invites visitors to actively participate in an experimental graphic workshop. They can, as it were, immerse themselves in a completely analogue process of cutting, pasting, reusing and copying. The exhibition catalogue ‘CopyCulture’ by Büro Destruct presents a selection of artworks created during the exhibitions of the same name in 2024 at the ‘Ruby Soho Gallery’ (NED) and in 2021 at the ‘Kulturmuseum’ in Bern (CH). The publication documents the diversity of the works created by the visitors and artists at these exhibitions.
Founded in 1994, the Büro Destruct collective is regarded as a pioneer and trailblazer of modern Swiss graphic design. If one were to briefly summarise the qualities of Büro Destruct, they would likely lie in creating futuristic and digitally inspired design solutions that simultaneously convey a sense of craftsmanship and relaxed ingenuity.
