For the exhibition ‘FC Stylez 2020’, we’re showcasing Corona and football. It’s a perfect match. Even the ball, the centrepiece of one of the world’s biggest sporting events, seems infected. Yet it keeps rolling – albeit on a pitch that’s gone haywire, with baffling rules. The ball and the pitch can symbolise our current (then) global situation in 2020: askew and somehow surreal! Wearing masks, we shout decisively onto the pitch: ‘Boo, Corona, we’ll defeat you’! But the game isn’t over yet!
